Our very own Brandy Egge, Activity Director, is making a notable impact on the lives of our residents while inspiring other staff to do the same! She is one of the many Bethesda Senior Living care givers training in Teepa Snow's POSITIVE APPROACH™ - a progressive therapy for helping seniors and their families recognize and manage the early signs of memory change.
As the Activity Director at Cambridge Court Assisted Living in Kearney, Nebraska, Brandy Egge is focused on adding value to each resident’s life through learning from the Teepa Snow POSITIVE APPROACH™. When spending quality time with our seniors, Brandy has identified strengths in individuals which have allowed her to engage those residents and support other residents who are suffering from dementia related challenges in the community. Whether it is teaching a knitting or writing class, playing the piano for an impromptu sing-a-long, or organizing a formal resident counsel, each resident is given the opportunity to share their talents matter if they have a dementia related illness.
